Fabric Samples

Screens can only show an approximation of colour and texture. A physical swatch is the best way to compare fabric in your own lighting.

How the service works

Fabric samples are normally prepared and sent by first-class post on working days. Please request samples when you are likely to place an order within the next two weeks, because fabric rolls and dye batches change over time.

Colour and batch variation

A sample helps with texture and general colour selection but cannot guarantee an exact match to a later production batch. Fabric can also look different in daylight, warm artificial light and photographs. Pile fabrics such as velvet may show shade variation when brushed in different directions.

Before requesting a swatch

  • Check the product page to confirm the fabric is offered on your chosen design.
  • View available product videos and close-up images where provided.
  • Limit the request to shades you are seriously considering so samples remain available for other customers.
  • Keep the swatch until your order is delivered so you can compare the expected family of colour and texture.
