Cosy Cocoon-like Design & Concealed Ottoman Storage Design
The Potter takes a different approach to the wingback — and it works really well. Instead of the usual button tufting, the headboard is done in clean horizontal channels that run the full width, giving it a more contemporary, almost architectural feel. The wings frame it all in a smooth, plain upholstery that contrasts nicely against the ribbed centre panel, and the whole thing sits in a warm charcoal-grey fabric that feels genuinely grown up.
It's a bed that's got real presence without leaning on decoration to get there. The horizontal lines draw the eye across rather than up, which makes the headboard feel wide and grounded — solid, almost. The low-profile base keeps the overall look clean and modern, and that two-tone play between the lighter horizontal-channelled headboard and the darker base adds just enough contrast to keep it interesting.
If you want something that feels tailored rather than showy, the Potter is a very good shout.
